Suzlon Energy secures order for 247 MW from John Deere Wind Energy

Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced that Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation, the USA, the wholly owned subsidiary of Suzlon Energy A/S, Denmark, the wholly owned subsidiary and the international business arm of the Company finalised an agreement with John Deere Wind Energy to supply 247 MW of the Company make wind turbines, the delivery of which will take place throughout the year 2007.

With this, the Company has a current consolidated order book position of Rs 5777 Crores, with Rs 4977 Crores in international orders and Rs 800 Crores in domestic orders.
