Indusind Bank opens its 19th branch in Tamil Nadu at Sivakasi

Indusind Bank Ltd has announced that the Bank on June 25, 2007 has inaugurated its new Branch at Sivakasi, Tamilnadu. Shri A P Selvarajan, Chief Promoter, Sri. Kaleswari Group of Companies was the Chief Guest. Shri. B Ganesan, Revenue Divisional Officer and Shri. R Ganesa Perurnal, Deputy Superintendent of Police also graced the occasion.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. S V Parthasarthy, Executive Vice President of the Bank said, "Sivakasi, widely known as Mini Japan is the hub of fireworks, matchworks and printing industries. The opening of our new branch in this enterprising and work conscious town, we take a step further towards our objective of reaching out to all corners of the country and offering our quality products and services to our customers. This will be the 19th Branch in the state of Tamilnadu. Indusind Bank today is one of the most preferred banks in the country with its fast growing and expanding network of branches."

The stock was trading at Rs.48.80, up by Rs.0.50 or 1.04%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.49.25 and low of Rs.48. The total traded quantity was 301971 compared to 2 week average of 232308.
