Ambalal Sarabhai Updates on VRS to workers and staff

With reference to the earlier announcement dated June 12, 2007 regarding the Company has announced Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) on June 12, 2007, applicable to Workers and staff Cadre employees, Ambalal Sarabhai Enterprises Ltd has announced that under the said VRS 188 employees of the Company have availed the benefit and the Company has paid Rs 6.48 lacks as compensation / legal dues to the beneficiaries.

The stock was trading at Rs.14.95, down by Rs.0.05 or 0.33%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.15.09 and low of Rs.14.63. The total traded quantity was 16861 compared to 2 week average of 59527.
