BEML Q4 net profit at Rs.935.10 million

Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) has announced the Audited financial results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 935.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 861.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 8365.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 9584.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 2049.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1869.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 21269.20 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 24792.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The stock was trading at Rs.1135, down by Rs.55.35 or 4.65%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1225 and low of Rs.1125. The total traded quantity was 225187 compared to 2 week average of 57847.
