CESC Board recommends 35% dividend

CESC Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 25, 2007, inter alia, has decided to recommend to the members at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company payment of dividend for the year ended March 31, 2007 @ 35% i.e. Rs 3.50 per share on Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each of the Company.

The Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from July 16, 2007 to July 27, 2007 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of payment of dividend and 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company to be held on July 27, 2007.
