Blue Dart in limelight on open offer rumour

Blue Dart Express Ltd is in the limelight for the past few days on news that there is going to be an open offer at a price substantially higher than the current market price. But, the company has denied the rumours.

The stock was trading up at Rs.701, up by Rs.52 or 8.01% compared to its previous close of Rs.649. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.720 and low of Rs.652.

The total traded quantity was 165824 compared to 2 week average of 34105.

The stock is on a roll since last month with the stock up by Rs.248.30 or 54.85% from Rs.452.70 on 18-May-2007.
