Tripex Overseas to set up pharma SEZ unit

Tripex Overseas Ltd has announced that the Company plans to set up a SEZ unit near Valsad (South-Gujarat). The Company Plans to set up a bulk drug and formulation manufacturing plant with an initial investment of Rs 200 crore.

The Company has acquired approx. 1400 acres land from the farmers by signing an Memorandum of Understanding MoUs (Subject to Gujarat Govt, Clearance) and the development work will commence very soon.

Simultaneously, the Company is in negotiation with their overseas buyers who can lift most of the pharma products and agreement will be sign very soon.

The Company manufactures special and exclusive range of Intermediates for dyes, pigments, pharmaceuticals, agro-chemicals and others.

The Company's five existing chemical plants are located in Ahmedabad. Ankleshwar, and Bharuch respectively. The Products of the Company are well accepted in national as well international markets.

The main products of the Company are broadly classified in to three categories which includes, Naphthalene Derivatives, Benzene Derivatives and Fast Base.

The local as well as international demand of dyes and intermediates used in textiles and pharmaceuticals industries is very high and expected to grew further in future. The quality and performance of Company's products are well approved by customers across the globe.

On financial front, the Company has shown excellent results for the year ended March 2007 and paid an interim dividend of 15 per cent. The board of directors have also recommended a liberal bonus which will be approved by the shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
