Bayer CropScience clarifies on Thane land sale

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Bayer to sell Thane land", Bayer CropScience Ltd has clarified that the Company has 108 acres of land in Thane. The Company is presently in the process of negotiations with the workers for a VRS package. LANXESS India Pvt Ltd also occupies a portion of the land and its production is ongoing. Therefore, at this point of time, it is not possible to clearly indicate the future plans with regard to this land.
