HCL Technologies Ltd on June 18, 2007 announced a US $15 million contract with Alenia Aeronautica, to provide engineering services that will support the improvement of the C-27J Spartan production line.

Under the terms of the deal, the Company will convert most of the existing structural design material of the C-27J program into electronic format, will migrate it into a PLM system and will carry out most of the engineering activities that have been planned to support the industrial improvement of the aircraft production line.
