Subex Azure Chairman appointed Executive Council Member of NASSCOM

Subex Azure Ltd on June 18, 2007 has announced that Subash Menon, Founder Chairman, Managing Director & CEO of the Company, has been appointed as a member to the Executive Council of the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), India’s premier trade body for the IT Industry. His tenure will be for two years.

The NASSCOM Executive Council is the highest decision making body of the association and governs all its activities, including regional, national and international events. The Executive Council consists of thought leaders of the Indian IT Industry ensuring that all activities adhere to the general vision of NASSCOM, which is to establish India as a software powerhouse and position the country as the global sourcing hub for software and services.

In addition to providing general advice, council members contribute and focus on areas that best utilize their professional experience for the benefit of the industry via the NASSCOM platform. The NASSCOM Executive Council has 27 members.

"It is a great honour to be appointed to the NASSCOM Executive Council. NASSCOM has been steering the Indian IT industry in the right direction for several years now. As a council member I hope to help meet the goals of the association, as well as bring India to the forefront of software product business considering that the country is beginning to ride an IT product wave," said Subash Menon.
