Aarti Drugs clarifies on merger news

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading daily titled "Aarti Ind, Aarti Drugs merger on cards", Aarti Drugs Ltd has clarified that there is no such merger proposal under active consideration of the management of both the Companies.

Further, as regards reports on rumours of picking up of equity stake by any drug major in the Company, the Company deny the same as baseless rumour.

Nevertheless, it is further clarified that, consideration of any such merger proposal in future may not be ruled out.
