Suzlon Energy approves allotment of 6,91,70,785 equity shares

Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced the issue of Equity Shares by way of preferential allotment.

The securities issue committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 25, 2014 have approved the allotment of 6,91,70,785 equity shares of Rs. 2 each of the company at an issue price of Rs. 18.51 per share to the CDR lenders as per CDR package on preferential basis.

The said 6,91,70,785 equity shares of Rs. 2 each of the company shall be locked in for a period of one year from the date of allotment in terms of the ICDR regulations.

Shares of SUZLON ENERGY LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.14.41 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 14.31. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3761766 in over 10746 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 14.66 and intraday low of 13.74. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 53139929.
