SPL Polymers operations disrupted due to fire

SPL Polymers Ltd has announced that the operations of the Company have been disrupted due to a major fire.

The fire in the during and bagging section of the Plant in Chennai on June 10, 2007 has caused damage to the structure.

There was no loss of life. The expected production downtime and consequent financial losses are being assessed and will be informed shortly.

The stock was trading at Rs.5.75, down by Rs.0.01 or 0.17%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.6.32 and low of Rs.5.21. The total traded quantity was 870 compared to 2 week average of 1484.
