Nifty Futures open interest increased by 8.91% - Angel Broking

The Nifty futures open interest increased by 8.91% while BankNifty futures open interest is increased by 16.28% as market closed at 6297.95 levels.

The Nifty March future closed at premium of 35.90 point against a premium of 18.00 points. The April series closed at a premium of 73.10 points.

The Implied Volatility of at the money options has decreased from 13.56% to 12.65%.

Nifty PCR-OI has increased from 0.97 to 1.01 levels.

The total OI of the market is Rs. 1,21,941/- cr. and the stock futures OI is Rs. 32,966/- cr.

Few of the liquid counters where we have seen high cost of carry are NHPC, JISLJALEQS, OFSS, INDIACEM and ASHOKLEY.
