Tata Investment clarifies on news item

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Tata Investment soars on consolidation", Tata Investment Corporation Ltd has clarified that the Company is not aware of any such development as referred to in the report regarding the Company.

The Company has always strictly fulfilled all the legal and reporting requirements and, in fact, the Company reported its annual working results as recently as on June 04, 2007 and if the Company had anything else to report, the Company would have done so at the same time.
