Atlas Copco clarifies on Buyback

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Buyback talks drives up Atlas Copco", Atlas Copco India Ltd has that the Company has never had the customer to comment on pure rumors & speculations in the media.

Further the Company, stated that the Company's Board of Directors has not had the matter of a buyback offer for its shares on the agenda of any of the meetings in the recent past.

The Company's Executive Management has not received any phone call requesting for any clarifications in this regard.

The stock was trading at Rs.1090, down by Rs.56.15 or 4.90%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1160 and low of Rs.1084.50. The total traded quantity was 3488 compared to 2 week average of 17004.
