Wipro Board approves merger of certain subsidiary Companies

Wipro Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company has approved merger of the following subsidiary Companies and the draft scheme of amalgamation vide circular resolution dated June 06, 2007 through two schemes of amalgamations.

Scheme 1- for merger of the following subsidiary Companies with the Company

a. MPACT Technology Services Pvt Ltd
b. mPower Software Services (India) Pvt Ltd
c. CMango India Pvt Ltd

Scheme 2- for merger of the following subsidiary Companies with the Company

a. Wipro Infrastructure Engineering Ltd
b. Wipro Healthcare IT Ltd
c. Quantech Global Services Ltd

These approvals are subject to the approval of the Shareholders, Creditors and the Honourable High Courts of respective States where Registered Office of the Companies are situated.
