VST Tillers clarifies on news item regarding expansion

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "VST Tillers shoots up on expansion buzz", VST Tillers Tractors Ltd has clarified that, the Company is exploring the possibility of a Joint Venture with Mitsubishi for manufacturing a range of engines. The Joint Venture is at discussion stage only and the Company is evaluating various feasibility issues concerning the project.

The Company is increasing the production of its Power Tillers and Tractors to meet the increased demand.

The stock closed the day at Rs.142.30, up by Rs.1.20 or 0.85%. The total traded quantity was 38886 compared to 2 week average of 15348. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.147.85 and low of Rs.141.
