Mercator Lines awarded contract by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd

Mercator Lines Ltd has announced that the Company has been awarded a contract by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOC) for transportation of approximately 12 million tons crude oil over a period of 15 months (incl. extensions) commencing from July 2007. The estimated value of the contract is Rs 200 Cr.

The stock closed the day at Rs.47.25, up by Rs.1.20 or 2.61%. The total traded quantity was 676795 compared to 2 week average of 1214860. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.47.95 and low of Rs.45.45.
