Britannia Industries Board recommends 150% dividend

Britannia Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 29, 2007, inter alia, has recommended the declaration of Dividend on the issued and paid up Share Capital of the Company for the year ended March 31, 2007 at the rate of Rs 15/- per equity share of Rs 10/ -each, subject to approval of the members of the Company at its 88th Annual General Meeting.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1620, up by Rs.61.55 or 3.95%. The total traded quantity was 35588 compared to 2 week average of 7909. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1635 and low of Rs.1495.
