Britannia Industries Q4 net profit at Rs.39.8 crores

Britannia Industries Ltd has announced the financial results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The Unaudited results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 398 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 278 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 4662 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 6079 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The Audited results for the Year ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 1076 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1464 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 17350 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 22286 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The Audited consolidated results for the Year ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 1051 million for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total Income (net of excise) is Rs 22951 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
