Nifty Futures open interest increased by 3.31% - Angel Broking

The Nifty futures open interest increased by 3.31% while BankNifty futures open interest is decreased by 4.06% as market closed at 6112.70 levels.

The Nifty October future closed at premium of 30.65 point against a premium of 34.30 points. The November series closed at a premium of 78.55 points.

The Implied Volatility of at the money options has decreased from 21.05% to 20.50%.

Nifty PCR-OI has increased from 1.10 to 1.12 levels.
The total OI of the market is Rs. 1,42,704/- cr. and the stock futures OI is Rs. 29,698/- cr.

Few of the liquid counters where we have seen high cost of carry are GRASIM, GMRINFRA, OFSS, ADANIPOWER and ANDHRABANK.
