Dhampur Sugar Mills Board to allot CCPS to IFCI, consider amalgamation of DSM Hitech Products

Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on September 12, 2006, inter alia, to consider the following:

1. To allot 274430 Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares to IFCI Ltd.

2. To consider and approve the scheme of amalgamation of DSM Hitech Products Ltd. (wholly owned subsidiary) with the Company.
