3i Infotech Limited acquires G4 Software Technologies

3i Infotech Limited has informed the Exchange that the Company has acquired G4 Software Technologies (India) Limited. G4, a niche company having about Rs.84 million in annual revenue and about 50 people specializing in the area of Payments Services, Back Office Exception Processing solutions and Business Process Integration services. Its Payments services relates to Financial Network solutions for SWIFT, Enterprise Payments Solutions, Real Time Gross Settlement solutions (RTGS), Migrating legacy Payment solutions such as MERVA from a Mainframe Environment, SEPA Single European Payments Architecture etc. Its back-office exception processing framework (BEEP) is designed to throw up real time event based exceptions. This framework can be used in many processes including Mutual Fund Accounting and Reconciliations, Error Ticketing/ Trade Breaks for Securities Companies, Claims Processing/ Under-writing for Insurance companies. Business Process Integration services includes offering consulting services on IBM Websphere using technologies such as WBI Process Modeler, Workflow, Portal Server, Integration tools, MQ series, on mainframes, unix and NT systems. The Consulting and Payment Services of G4 compliments with the Company´s banking offerings and the company expects a significant scope for IT consulting in this area. Moreover, the BEEP can be used with the Company´s Mutual Fund products to do reconciliation and also for other businesses with high volumes like Credit cards, PDC factory and other BPO areas which the Company prepares to target in near future.
