Nifty Future adds OI to the tune of 0.71 mn shares - Nirmal Bang

The Indian market ended in green yesterday led by an up move seen in sectors such as metals and IT. Banking stocks too recovered in the second half and ended in green.

Nifty Future closed marginally in green at 5971.30 (up 23.05pts) adding OI to the tune of 0.71mn.

FIIs were net buyers in cash as well as Index Futures to the tune of 897.5Cr and 421.9Cr respectively.

India VIX increased by 1.86% to close at 15.84 touching an intra-day high of 16.57.

Though the trend reversal is visible in the markets the Nifty future is expected to get immediate support at 5900 level with the put OI addition to the tune of 0.49mn.

Highest OI build-up is seen at 6100 Call and 5900 strike Put, to the tune of 6.71mn and 8.96mn respectively.

Markets are likely to open on a positive note following the positive global cues and are likely to remain range bound during the day.
