We have seen a range bound and choppy movement of Indian equities last week. After starting with a subdued session, the NSE-50 share index, benchmark Nifty rose to make a weekly high of 5971.00 and then it continuously fell to make a weekly low of 5835.80 on Friday. At last it ended the week with a net loss of 0.63%.
On the sectoral front, some buying interest was seen in IT, Oil & gas, Health care and Realty stocks. However, Consumer durable, FMCG, Metal and Auto pack lead to a decline.
Now, Nifty is expected to get a strong support in 5820-5800 band.
