Federal Bank Board Meeting to discuss matters relating to acquisition of United Western Bank

Federal Bank Ltd has announced that an emergency meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank will be held on September 06, 2006, to consider matters related to the expression of its interest in taking over the United Western Bank of India Ltd under moratorium, pursuant to Reserve Bank of India notification on Government of India order placing the said Bank under moratorium.
