Suzlon Energy secures Order from Edison Mission Group

Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced that Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation, the USA, the wholly owned subsidiary of Suzion Energy A/S, Denmark, the wholly owned subsidiary and the international business arm of the Company has signed another 105 MW deal with Edison Mission Group for 50 units of Suzlon’s S88-2.1 MW wind turbines, the delivery of which is expected to begin in mid 2007.

With signing of these orders, the Company has a current consolidated order book position of Rs 4587 Crores, with Rs 3787 Crores in international orders and Rs 800 Crores in domestic orders.
