Lemon Tree Hotels signs 11th property in Punjab 
              Anil Bioplus Limited, member of the Rs. 1,000 crore plus diversified Anil Group of companies based out of Ahmedabad, is going to invest Rs. 150 crore to set up a greenfield state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Halol, near Vadodara, to manufacture the most modern range of enzymes and bio-chemical products. The company has already acquired land for this project and work will begin from November 2012. This project will enhance the capacities of Anil Bioplus's existing product line and augment its products range with the addition of new enzymes and varieties of gluconates.
By using the most sophisticated Fermentation facilities with downstream processing, the company will be engaged in the production of hi-tech Active Pharma Ingredients (APIs), Specialty Enzymes for Food, Pharmaceutical and Beverages industries. These products will be over and above the existing product basket of its Gluconates & Enzymes and will cater to both the domestic as well as the international markets.
Sharing his views on this major new greenfield project, Mr. Amol S. Sheth, Chairman of Anil Bioplus Limited, said, "This new facility will have an ultra-tech R&D facility which will focus on pure research, process development and application development. Constant focus on R&D and introduction of innovative value-added products have always been the unique selling propositions of the Anil Group. On completion of this project, Anil Bioplus is expected to achieve a turnover of Rs 400 crore in three years."
Anil Bioplus's products are used by various industries like food, animal feed, pharmaceuticals, beverages and construction. In food ABL's products are used for bakery and starch/high maltose syrups; in pharma they are used as digestive aid products and in animal feed as ingredients for poultry & cattle feed. In beverages they are used for brewing as processing aids leading to increased alcohol recovery. They are also used in the construction industry as plasticizers and retarders for better bonding of the concrete/ cement mixture aiding in its strengthening.
