International Seminar on Renewable Energy begins on Monday

An international seminar on Renewable Energy begins at Solar Energy Centre (SEC ), Gwal Pahari in Haryana from ninth of this month. SEC is the center of excellence for the development and promotion of solar energy technologies under the ministry of New and Renewable Energy Sources. The center also has national facilities for Research and Development Technology, testing and training.

The two week seminar will share India’s programmes in renewable energy which are largest in the world. It will cover all the aspects of renewable energy including resource assessment, technologies, policy and implementing mechanism. Scientists, experts from SEC and MNRE, academics, research organizations and representatives from industries will participate in it.
