Union Health Minister Dr.Anbumani Ramadoss in USA

The Union Health & Family Welfare Minister, Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss is currently on a one-week official visit to USA. On the first day of his visit (26.3.07) besides meeting various US officials, he also addressed a round-table meeting on "Indian Public Health Policy" at the US Chamber of Commerce, Washington DC. Leading representatives of US - India Business Council along with Ms. Banashri Bose, Embassy officer from Indian Embassy, Washington DC and Mr. Anthony Hess, President of CTIS company were present at the meeting.

During the day, the Minister also met Ms. Paula Dobrianski, Under Secretary, Department of State and Ambassador, John Lange, American President's Special Representative on Avian Influenza.
