Videocon Industries allots 491230 equity shares

The Shareholders' / Investors' Grievance Committee of the Board of Directors of Videocon Industries Ltd at its meeting held on July 27, 2011, has allotted 4,91,230 equity shares pursuant to conversion of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds of principal amount of US $ 2.6 million, at a conversion price of Rs. 239.5265.

The stock closed the day at Rs.193, up by Rs.1.45 or 0.76%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.196 and low of Rs.192.

The total traded quantity was 12.09 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.68 lakhs.
