Bata India Board to consider interim dividend

Bata India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 30, 2007 has decided that the next Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held on June 27, 2007, inter-alia, to receive, consider and adopt the Profit & Loss Account for the year ended December 31, 2006, the Balance Sheet and the Auditor’s Report as on that date.

The dividend, if any, to be recommended by the Board will be considered at the next Board Meeting to be held on March 31, 2007, which will approve the Audited Financial Results of the Company for the year ended December 31, 2006.
