Bharati Shipyard signs an order with GE Shipping

Bharati Shipyard Ltd has announced that the Company has signed an order with Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd (GESCO), Offshore Division, for manufacture and supply of a Self Propelled Cantilevered Independent Leg, Jack up Drill Rig.

There are only nine manufacturers of this type of Jack up Drill Rigs world wide. The Company´s entry in to this niche market segment will give a major boost to its offshore manufacturing activities. The event is also a mile stone in the history of the Company as now it prides to be a part of the select few, who manufacture this type of rigs.
