Delhi Metro to introduce feeder bus service to connect 27 stations

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation proposes to start new feeder buses on 36 routes to provide better connectivity with Metro stations. To begin with, CNG operated mini buses would be introduced to connect with 27 Metro stations. The proposal is likely to be finalized in six months. The Minister of state for Urban Development Ministry Shri Ajay Maken gave this information in Lok Sabha in a written reply today. He also said that the Delhi Metro is not struggling with poor rider ship due to inadequate feeder bus services.
