Sterlite Technologies allots 55460 Shares under ESOS

Sterlite Technologies Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on January 10, 2011 has allotted 55,460 equity shares to those grantees who had exercised their options under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme - 2006.

The stock was trading at Rs.69.95, down by Rs.3.05 or 4.18%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.73.20 and low of Rs.69.20.

The total traded quantity was 2.09 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 3 lakhs.
