Hon´ble High Court of Bombay & Madhya Pradesh approves Scheme of Amalgamation of Universal Cables

Universal Cables Ltd has announced that the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay at Goa and the Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur have approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Optic Fibre Goa Ltd with the Company vide their Orders dated August 18, 2006 and August 25, 2006 respectively.

As per Scheme of Amalgamation, 3092310 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each will be allotted to the Shareholders of Optic Fibre Goa Ltd in the proportion of 5 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each for every 13 fully paid Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each held by the said Shareholders as on the record date.
