Shipping Corporation of India files RHP with ROC

Shipping Corporation of India Ltd has announced that the Company has filed the Red Herring Prospectus in respect of the Proposed Further Public Offer by the Company which includes an Offer for Sale by the President of India, acting through the Ministry of Shipping, with the Office of Registrar of Companies, Mumbai.

The public issue opens on November 30, 2010 and closes on December 02, 2010 for QIB Bidders. For the other Bidders the issue closes on December 03, 2010.

The stock closed the day at Rs.165.50, up by Rs.0.40 or 0.24%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.168.50 and low of Rs.160.05.

The total traded quantity was 0.59 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.78 lakhs.
