Patni Computer Systems allots 80871 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation a Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated September 16, 2010 has allotted 80,871 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 49,556 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York Mellon as a Depository in connection with the issuance of 24,778 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.451.10, up by Rs.0.90 or 0.20%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.457.70 and low of Rs.446.05.

The total traded quantity was 0.76 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.75 lakhs.
