AXIS Bank allots 376298 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Directors of the Bank, on September 20, 2010, has made the allotment of 3,76,298 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 40,88,41,213 equity shares from 40,84,64,915 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1542.35, up by Rs.36.70 or 2.44%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1560 and low of Rs.1488.

The total traded quantity was 1.95 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.82 lakhs.
