Ambuja Cements allots 253375 shares under ESOS category

Ambuja Cements Ltd has announced that the Share Allotment & Investor Grievance Committee at its meeting held on September 03, 2010 has allotted 253375 Equity Shares on exercise of the stock options by the employees.

Under Stock Option Scheme 2005-2006, 36625 shares were allotted. Under Stock Option Scheme 2007, 5200 shares were allotted, 148550 shares were allotted under Stock Option Scheme 2008 and 63000 Shares were allotted under Stock Option Scheme 2009.

The stock closed the day at Rs.125.35, up by Rs.0.40 or 0.32%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.125.80 and low of Rs.124.

The total traded quantity was 96998 compared to 2 week average of 199782.
