Venus Remedies to consider preferential issue on Aug 24, 2010

Venus Remedies Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on August 24, 2010, inter alia, to consider and approve issue of fully convertible warrants to promoters / persons acting in concert on a preferential basis, subject to approval of the general meeting.

The stock closed the day at Rs.267, down by Rs.3.05 or 1.13%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.273.50 and low of Rs.265.

The total traded quantity was 3576 compared to 2 week average of 7911.
