Hindustan Construction allots 303256460 Bonus Equity Shares

Hindustan Construction Company Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company has, at its Meeting held on August 12, 2010, issued and allotted 30,32,56,460 fully paid-up Bonus Equity Shares of Rs. 1/- each to those Shareholders of the Company who held Equity Shares in the Company as on the Record Date i.e. August 11, 2010.


Consequent to the issue and allotment of the Bonus Equity Shares as aforesaid, the Paid-up Equity Share Capital of the Company stands increased from the present Rs. 30,32,56,460/- (Rupees Thirty Crore Thirty Two Lakhs Fifty Six Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Only) divided into 30,32,56,460 Equity Shares of face value Rs. 1/- each, to 60,65,12,920/- (Rupees Sixty Crore Sixty Five Lakhs Twelve Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty Only) divided into 60,65,12,920 Equity Shares of face value Rs. 1/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.70.60, down by Rs.0.55 or 0.77%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.70.95 and low of Rs.70.

The total traded quantity was 2.41 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 10.26 lakhs.
