Axis Bank allots 511433 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Whole-Time Directors of the Bank, on July 20, 2010, has made the allotment of 5,11,433 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 40,79,53,908 equity shares from 40,74,42,475 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1371, up by Rs.10.05 or 0.74%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1388.20 and low of Rs.1357.

The total traded quantity was 287435 compared to 2 week average of 210599.
