Birla Power Solutions allots shares under GDR

Birla Power Solutions Ltd has announced that the Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company, at its meeting duly convened and held on July 09, 2010, have allotted to The Bank of New York Mellon (Depositary), 1,062,192,350 fully paid equity shares of Re. 1/- each against underlying 21,243,847 Global Depository Receipts.

The stock was trading at Rs.2.55, up by Rs.0.18 or 7.59%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.2.84 and low of Rs.2.36.

The total traded quantity was 12505160 compared to 2 week average of 1225538.
