Axis Bank allots 501496 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Whole-Time Directors of the Bank, on June 18, 2010, has made the allotment of 5,01,496 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 40,74,42,475 equity shares from 40,69,40,979 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1208.50, down by Rs.6.55 or 0.54%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1227 and low of Rs.1203.

The total traded quantity was 180645 compared to 2 week average of 202357.
