Bombay Swadeshi to plan for demerger of some of its activities

Bombay Swadeshi Stores Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 31, 2007, has proposed a plan for demerger of the Company and some of its activities.

The implementation of the proposal will be subject to the approval of the shareholders at a General Meeting as well as approval of the Hon'ble Bombay High Court.
