Axis Bank allots 1293081 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Whole-Time Directors of the Bank has on May 19, 2010 made the allotment of 12,93,081 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 40,69,40,979 equity shares from 40,56,47,898 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1205.10, down by Rs.49.45 or 3.94%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1245 and low of Rs.1193.05.

The total traded quantity was 275600 compared to 2 week average of 273836.
