Sterlite Technologies allots 97455 Shares under ESOP Scheme

Sterlite Technologies Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on May 18, 2010 has allotted 97,455 equity shares to those grantees who had exercised their options under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme - 2006.

Further the Company has informed that, the aforesaid shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares of the Company in all respects.

The stock closed the day at Rs.103.20, up by Rs.5.15 or 5.25%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.104.25 and low of Rs.97.25.

The total traded quantity was 792523 compared to 2 week average of 376540.
