Wipro allots 63828 equity shares to employees

Wipro Ltd has announced that Administrative Committee of the Company's Board of Directors vide Circular resolution dated May 17, 2010 resolved to issue and allot 63828 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each pursuant to exercise of the stock options by the eligible employees under Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2004 and Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2005.

The stock closed the day at Rs.659.55, up by Rs.14.25 or 2.21%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.664.50 and low of Rs.642.90.

The total traded quantity was 78772 compared to 2 week average of 132834.
